All collaborators need iOS 10 or later, macOS Sierra (10.12) or later, and an iCloud account. Repeat this process on every mobile device you want to sync the Notes app with via iCloud. It’s great for getting random notes down quickly, and organizes them pretty well, too. It falls short in some areas, though, such as not having text formatting or notebooks. On the one hand, Google Keep’s UI is great because it’s so simple. Other note-taking apps, such as Evernote, offer a APK Lib completely decked-out interface, giving you more options to choose from.
